does anyone know what a tenant's rights are to break their rental lease for safety issues??? Here's my problem. My husband and I rent a home in NV, and there is a SERIOUS scorpion problem. we are finding these things outside, inside, in the drains, everywhere! we have had a pest control service coming out every month to spray, but it is not helping at all. And it's not just my house; I have checked around and all of our neighbors (I've talked to probably a dozen so far) have the same problem. I want to know if I have the right to break my lease because of this. We have already decided to move, either way, but I'd rather not have to pay rent somewhere to live and pay for this house for the next 7 months. Any advise would be really appreciated.
