Do you think it is alright to tell let your kids believe in Santa Clause. I have been a scrooge for several years and have been a non-Santa parent. I felt like I would be lying to the my children. My logic was that they think that I was lying to them about God also. I am starting to rethink my thinking. What does everybody else think about it.

every since my son was born, we told our son that Santa Clause is not real but some kids will believe that he is. We let him know that it is really daddy. We told him that we can pretend about Santa though and went through all the rituals of it... putting milk and cookies out, hanging the stockings, having presents in the stocking Christmas morning. now, every Christmas day, my son calls my husband "daddy clause". he's 7 years old and doesn't seem to mind at all.
