Transitional or Strict? Which is Good for web design using Non-WYSIWYG Editors?

I use only Transitional HTML DTDs.. And I use mostly non-WYSIWYG Editors..
I dont have a very good knowledge of HTML so I use Transitional DTD..
What do you prefer?
Are there any people who use the non-WYSIWYG Editors with Strict DTD for web designing?
