Congrats =) The first poster had good suggestions... also ask about something to help with morning sickness because it is real bad with me... each mom-to-be has it differently. Another is to ask for prenatal vitamins but check that it has low i mean low amount of vitamin A - found in carrots. It's good for vision but can be bad for the baby. Ask what pain relievers you can take (acomol -- i misspelled it -- is fairly mild but is good since it helps reduce fever). Because if you get sick and have a fever that is bad for the baby to. It never hurts to ask about your own general health as well... a healthy mom = healthy baby lol Im going into my 5th month and will be having a boy God willing =) There is nothing called a stupid question, i asked a load of my own lol but she was kind enough to answer without laughing ;) Hope that helps!

congratulations! i know the first ultrasound is given on the first check up. this is to check the condition of your baby. normally the ob will do more of the talking for first time mommies.

congrats on your pregnancy. i'm pregnant with twins. the first ultrasound is usually done when you're around 10-14 weeks pregnant. the first test they had me go for was some blood work to make sure everything is okay. it also told me what my blood type is. make sure you talk to your doctor about any over the counter medicines you're allowed to take in case you get sick. some, are very dangerous to the baby.
