Who saw the show last night?

Anyone here still watching ER? Last nights episode was full of surprises. Not only did we learn the deep dark secret of Kate Bansfield (the new chief of the ER played by Angela Bassett), but we also got to see some familiar faces back in the ER. Bansfield had a flashback to when her son was brought into County ER and was cared for by the late, great Dr. Mark Green! (applause). So Anthony Edwards made his appearance on the last season of the show by filming a flashback scene, how awesome was that? Some other familiar faces from last night's show (also making their appearance via flashback) were Dr. Karrie Weaver, Jerry, and the late Dr. Robert Romano! I almost fell out of my seat when I saw Romano. That episode was so great, I loved it!!! Other than Clooney, who played Dr. Ross, and Noah Wylie, who played John Carter, who else would you like to see make a return to ER for their final season? I'd like to see Dr. Benton, played by Eric Lasalle. BTW, he did a quick shot before the show started last night to speak about the death of Crichton, but I'd like to see him back as his former role. I'd also like to see it end by Neela moving down to Lousianna to be with Ray. What do you want to see?

I unfortunately stopped watching it when I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter. It just came on too late for me, I was super tired all the time then. I want to watch every episode in order so I'm waiting until they come out on DVD then I'll either rent or buy them all. I LOVE ER and I miss it soooooo much.

I'm going to miss it a ton when it's finally off the air. I've only missed a few episodes, because I also watch the reruns on TNT. I missed most of last season because I got really mad that Abby cheated on Luka and put her son in danger by being a drunk. I really liked Abby before that, and didn't like to see her ruining her life like that. But when I heard this was the last season, I decided to start watching again.

I've missed so much of it that I don't even know who's still on it or not. I stopped watching when Noah Wylie left the show.

Well we're losing a lot of familiar faces this year, because of it being the last season. I think they just want to find a definite end to our old favorites like Abby, Luka, and Pratt. There are few left now that have been on the show for awhile, pretty much just Neela and Morris. I think even if it weren't the last season, I'd probably still watch, just because I enjoy the show so much.

All the doctors from the first two seasons are still my favorite. It was great to see the old ones again.

I was trying to figure out if that was a flashback to an actual old episode or if it was filmed just for this one. All of the former cast members looked EXACTLY as they did when they were on the show. I saw all the shows through the years but I can't remember the incident with the little boy with leukemia but I do remember Mark going for his chemo at night and Romano's smart remarks. Annie

Thanks for the info. You know, now that you've mentioned it, Romano did look a bit heavier. Annie

It was newly filmed, I read that somewhere. All of those actors came back to film that episode. I thought Romano looked a little fatter than he had before, but otherwise they all looked the same. I don't know, perhaps some of the scenes were old while the rest was just filmed, I hadn't thought of that.
