How to get along with my mother?

hmmmm, have you as a child get along with your mom? if so, then somehow you will be able to tell your mom that you are also a mom now and its your time now to be a mother to your child. yes, it is very difficult. even i had my ups and down with my mom more so because I'm living with them. usually, when i would like to open up to her with such matters, i invite her to stroll in our neighborhood and i ask her advice on parenting, discuss the advantages or disadvantages of her advices, make a request from her that if ever I'm saying some things to my kids not to contradict me in front of them in return i will also not contradict her in front of my kids,then i thank her afterwards. sometimes we think mom is criticizing us but actually, she just doesn't want us to commit the same mistakes she did. I'm so thankful to God because He has blessed me with a very loving and understanding (but sometimes very nagging) MOM. HEHEHEHE
