Hello dear fellow mylotters,
In my family, we prepare two different kinds of toothpaste for us to brush our teeth, with one used in the morning after we get up and the other in the evening before going to bed. We try to use a different brand of toothpaste when it is consumed.
So what about you guys? Do you also prepare one or two different kinds of toothpaste or are you in the habit of using two in a single day? Thank you in advance for your response, my dear friends.
Love from williamjisir

Hi jisir, you are not the only one who use more than a kind of toothpaste for brushing teeth daily. There are toothpastes of three different brands in my house. One of them is the most popular one in our place, Colgate. We pick the blue color fluoride one with mint flavor. The mint in it makes our month to have the cool and fresh feeling after using it in the morning.
We have the ordinary toothpaste which is white in color that serves its purpose well. The other is the green color toothpaste which claims to contain herbal ingredients. It is edible so it’s quite for suitable for small kids. We don’t stick to any particular type of toothpaste in any strict manner. Anyway I prefer the edible one and it's also the expensive one most of the time.
posting and take care.

It’s nice to know that you do love herbal toothpaste as well. I believe the dental gel, Greenzhi is genuine as I had read the report concerning this in the magazine related. It’s the product of a foreign direct sale company. I believe herbal toothpaste is more organic and contains less undesirable chemical which can bring harm if used for a long term in daily life. The ordinary one I use is the product of one of the hypermarkets here. Of course it’s more economical.
posting and have a nice day.

Hello lkbooi. I am glad to know that you do the same. By the way, I also love to use toothpaste with herbal ingredients. The two kinds that we are using are huangqin and tianqi. They are home-made, not foreign brands. I also love to use Colgate and some other brands as well. In fact, my son had his favorite children's toothpaste two years ago. Now he uses the same toothpaste we use. Take care, friend.

Hi W.j.s........I always use the same brand of tooth paste to brush my teeth in the morning and the evening....The only time I change my brand is when I run out of tooth paste, and do not get the one I want, while shopping.
But W.J.s..ok..ok...got it...I had a doubt, but its clear now..I think you meant we "prefer" and not prepare.........(These typos are really confusing...).....
Well there are so many brands of toothpastes in the market, claiming to have so many magical powers......that its really difficult to chose the right one.I suppose that's the reason why you opt for two kinds of tooth pastes .It appears you have wisely taken the easy way out........well I dont blame you W.J.s....

Oh no W.J.S.......I am not blaming you at all for what you have done..perhaps you wanted one brand and your wife another...that may also be your reason for opting for two brands........Well in my home there ie absolutely no room for such conflict since my husband invariably use what ever brand I buy, without a murmur......

Hi williamjisir, so far I only use one kind of toothpaste in my house. If I am back in my home town, there is also only one kind of toothpaste is being used. I am curious why you are using two kinds of toothpaste? Is it because you won't get bored of using just only one kind of toothpaste? Or is it a way to remind you about brushing the teeth? Happy posting and have a great time in Mylot!

Hahaha, I thought you must have some reasons to do it in such a way. Seems like it's not . But I think it's cute to and you can have the advantage to taste two kinds of toothbrush within a day. That's a good idea too and I might give it a try someday. Have a nice day my friend williamjisir!

Hi williamjisir, Its so nice to know that you know how to make your own toothpaste. I mean you can add your favourite things and flavour. I'm impressed with this skill of yours. It would be nice if you could teach us too, if you feel like.
I don't use two toothpastes in a single day. But I do like to change my toothpaste every two months or so, just to try and see if it is better than the previous one.
Thanks and good day.

Hello my dear friend. It is in fact like this--if I use one in the morning, then I will use another in the evening. It is simple, huh? I love to use a different one in a day. Good luck to you, Daffodil.

I use the same toothpaste each day. Really never gave it any thought to use two different kinds. Might be something I would have an interest in checking out to see if there is a paste which is stronger or more effective before bedtime. I have seen some people carry a toothbrush to work, go in the restroom and brush their teeth at work after lunch. I see nothing wrong with it since it's great to practice good hygiene.

greetings, william, I use one brand of toothpaste personally. Though I do sometimes switch on the flavors. From the brand I use (with no flouride) I choose between a clove flavor and an anise flavor. This is an organic toothpaste which I do splurge on for myself.

Hello, WilliamJiSir!
In my family, we often use two or more types of
toothpaste as well.
Sometimes, we have a partial tube of toothpaste
left over as well as a new tube.
And, my daughter only uses her Crest
Dora the Explorer Fruity Bubble Gum toothpaste.
Last night, I accidentally used her toothpaste.
Tasted very sweet.
Too sweet for someone my age.

Hmm...
I used 3 types of toothpaste in a single brush routine. I don't know, I just like to mix and match things, and I find that using three (well actually just a little bit of the three to make a single line) is much fun and effective for me.
It's not actually because my dentist recommended that I do that, I just do so for the fun of it.
=)

I don't know what you mean by prepare. Do you make it yourself? Like you would prepare
your chicken before cooking it.
Anyways, no I don't use two different kinds of toothpaste. I usually just stick to one
kind and that is Wintermint Collegate. I have tried using the plain one but I found it
doesn't make my breath as fresh so I went back to the wintermint one. It seems to
work the best for my breath as well as my teeth.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Your friend, Chris

Hello chrislotz. I am so sorry to have confused you when I say "prepare". I mean "place". I am unable to make toothpaste myself otherwise I would have been making toothpaste as a business of mine. lol. Thank you so much for your response, my dear friend. Good day.

LOL.. we are using one brand of toothpaste every day. It is too expensive to have different brands in one house hold? We used only one tube, me and my hubby of course we have different brush,, but when it comes to toot paste we use only one to minimize expenses.

My hubby bought 2 different kinds of toothpaste. One was not to my liking so I used the other one. My daughter bought me a night time toothpaste. I did use it in the evenings before I went to bed. But, I wouldn't purchase it myself. I just use the same thing night and day.

Hello Elusive Butterfly. So in this case, you have two kinds of toothpaste right now. Well, I remember our starting to use this way out of one time when we bought a tube of toothpaste long time ago saying that it was a good one for night time. Ever since then we have been using our toothpaste this way. But we do not always use the same brand toothpaste. Good day.

I am very happy to see your new discussion. That means to say you are active here:)
I have several toothpastes at home as I usually bought some when I saw the promotion. Especially when they gave the customers some gifts such as a big mug etc. Then I will buy the toothpaste. I tend to finish one then use another new toothpaste. That means to say I won't use two different kinds of toothpastes in a single day.
I love China

I only use one type of toothpaste, one for the morning and the same one for the evening. You know, I have been thinking about buying two seperate tooth pastes, that way I could save on my toothpaste.. I would have one for the mornings and then one for the evenings. This has been a thought on my mind to consider doing. What a very neat idea that you have came up with!

I use the same brand both day and night . However once I bought crest for night time but that was a bit much money , and what could of been differnt i thought .
I did just a month again get some free tooth paste samples by go smile . There was a morning one with cranberry flavored and orange mint that was suppose to wake ya up and then the night time one had lavender and other relaxing agents in there . I was gonna buy both , but wow it was like 12 a tube .

Why do you have to have two brands of toothpaste? do you have any reason for that?
I dont see any reason why a family has to have one brand in the morning and another one in the evening.
