some of the people today haven't finish studying or haven't reached college or even haven't finished highschool but are successful. but, some says it is more important to finish studying. And most who are done studying or graduated college didn't have jobs yet until now and striving to have one. Some said, they only accept applicants those who are rich in skills than those who has higher education or academics standards. hmmm....so which is better? and which side are you on? the skilled ones or the educated ones?

To me, education is the same importance to skills. You may know the difference between manager and worker. Usually the manangers have higher education and workers are skillful. A worker without higher education, no matter how skillful he is, may not be able to describe his skill clearly. Of course there are many skillful person without high education become success. I believe those successful person never give up their self-education. I mean during the process of obtaining skill and experience, they also study something, they read books, newspapers and educate themselves to be better. That's self-education. So both skill and education are important factors to a successful person.

But, some people who are really fully educated are poor in skills you know. I know someone how is really intelligent and has high grades. but, sad to say when in terms of applying it he is really poor and really doesn't know how to do it with his bear hands. how can you defend this one?

Yes, as you said, there are some people have higher education but without skill, they don't become success. that's why I say education and skill is of the same importance. But it may be easier for those who with higher education to learn something new. you know they are specialize in study when they are having their education, they are good learner.

i prefer both because to become a successful person with thousands of incomes, we need to be educated..our skills also must not be neglected...it must always be improving from time to time...and when we graduated, then we'll get both...educations and skills...these combination will always help people to survive...even their companies bankrupt, they'll get a new job in just a short time...just be in this group of people...:]

It depends on the type of job - most blue collar jobs demand skills, while many white collar jobs demand education.
