When I was in high school, I had a collection of different kinds of stationeries with stickers, scented or unscented, Hello Kitty, United Feature Syndicate, Precious Moments and a lot more stationeries. I loved and enjoyed collecting them during those times with my classmates. But, when I have gone to college, my interest seemed to vanish. Maybe, because I was grown up already and I was too occupied with studying.
Now, I'm thinking of collecting ceramic, glass or wooden horses. I love looking at figurine horses as home decors, but they are small. I already have some pieces and wants to add some bigger ones.
How about you, what favorite item/s do you collect?
Good day to all!

Hi there!
In my younger years I have also collected stationaries. I think that's the commonest thing that every girls collected at school. I even swap stationaries with my friends and up to now I still have every stationary I have collected. I have them all in a one big plastic envelope lol. I don't like using them. I just like to collect them.
As I get older I have collected Hello Kitties. I have stuff toys, figurines, plates, mugs and a cassette player. I like them cause they're cute and I think its a nice collection for a girl to have. I have them in one cabinet and the stuff toys are wrapped in plastic so they won't get dirty.
Ciao!

I collect books from my favorite authors; plastic and glass decorative containers. When I was traveling frequently in my previous job, I used to collect soaps and match-boxes from the hotels I stayed in. The soaps couldn't keep - they went all powdery and crumbly, so I had to throw them out.

I used to collect stamps and coins. I had all sorts of old coins, commemorative coins, foreign currency coins, etc. And I love collecting shells and pebbles from the beach, especially those with unusual shapes and appearance. But when I transferred to the city I stopped collecting anything. All I have are thousand of pictures of where I've been and what I've done. But I don't suppose that counts as a collection.

Hi...when I was in grade school, I collected Sanrio products. Little Twin stars was my favorite character. I had different things with Little twin stars on it. Then like you,I passed the stage of collecting stationeries too which most of them were used to write my penpals. Then I collected the Nancy Drew mystery books. They all line up in our book shelf. My mom read the books too so I didnt need to whine for her to get me those latest editions. Then, there were the carebears...then coins. Vintage coins/bills and foreign ones too.
I dont know where they are now...
Now that I am married,I collect fish figurines and diffeent santa clause stuff.
Happy collecting.

I love collecting stones and corals from the beach and take them home. I have collections of different sizes shapes and colors and I always put a tag on each them to remind me what place I've found them. I keep them in my garden along with my plants.
