Are you a parent? How do you love your child?
In my opinion, only raising children is not enough.A great task for parents is to cultivate their children's virtues, including kindness, diligence, bravery, perseverance and so on.These virtues will benefit the children through their whole life.
Well, i am not a parent now.But i am a child of my parents.I think they really teach my many useful things which benefit me a lot.The most thing is independence.
They taught how to sovle a problem by myself, how to get along well with others, how to take care of myself when i live alone. What about you, mylotters? How do your parents love you?And if you are a parent, what will you do to your children?

I'm an only child. =P
I agree with a lot of what you said. Raising a child is not enough; it's up to the parents to raise a child with virtues that they have learned over time. It's not an easy task, but it can be done, and it doesn't have to be a difficult time for the parents if they do it effectively, if you know what I mean.
Like you, one of the main things that my parents have taught me is independence, and working on my own. This may be due to the fact that I'm an only child (I'm not spoiled though, if that's what you're thinking xD).
How do parents raise children to teach them morals and virtue? I can't provide a definite answer, but I believe that one of the key things is education. Parents teach their kids what's wrong and what's right, and the consequences to their actions. They tell them that if they put their hand in the electric plug while it's turned on, they'll get an electric shock (really weird example that I just thought of randomly xD). They apply this to larger situations as their kids grow, and hopefully, in the end, the kids will turn out to be honest, virtuous individuals with their lives of their own. =)
