For me, i find it quite useful for me to do last-minute preparation, but only for the theoretical subjects. I only can remember if i understand the theory well. Otherwise, i just force myself to memorize, and this i can't remember for long, normally will forget after the exam. hehe... Basically i will prepare for the calculation earliers, because this needs practices.

Well, for me that's cramming. For some its a good time to study before an exam but for some they get more tensed while reviewing because at the same time they are thinking of the exam hence his/her concentration to the review is not 100%. Whatever floats your boat. For me, its better to give enough time for study before the exam so I can still grasp the whole essence of my review.

for me, it helps to cram once in a while.. if i study too early, i forget everything.. so i usually study 3-4 days before the exam if it's very long, if not then 1-2 days before the exam will suffice.. :)

Hi As for me, last minute study always useful for me because if I study earlier then I will forget most of the thing I study. If I study last minute, I just can remember. So I think that last minute study is good for me but sometime if too nervous we can just forgot all the thing again. Haha. We should planing what we need to study and this can help us get better result also.

Hi ! Yeah quite right that it helps in getting through the exams . But I wont say it is not helpful at all otherwise . I mean it all depends on how one is approaching the exam . I did it a lot and I suppose it helped me gain knowledge as well . But I had to rather leave some of the topics if i go for last min studies which was not good .

Last minute study is very helpful to some extent. It helps us to score better but it does not learn anything. So it haven't any great value.

Oh, that is what you call "cramming", I have this friend and cramming is his best method, He's so lazy and all! Oh my gosh, i ask myself why did he choose nursing when he is so lazy and stuff like that! Anyways, YEAH! Its not helpful because you know while your reading the terms, there's this feeling of "rush", you have to rush things so the question is can you focus? not right. This is not a helpful tip but i think its working for some. =) Good day.
