Real Mothers

I got this somewhere, I just want to share this to all mothers
Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of shag carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?' and get their answer when a
little voice says, 'Because I love you best.'
Real Mothers know that a child ' s growth is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mama to Mom to Mother...
The Images of Mother
4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom ' s opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure
that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must
be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the
place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that
she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and
the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

Hi red amethyst. As a mother I thank you very much for this beautiful post. Times to times we need to hear something like that . It is good to know that someone give the value for mothers. We only want a smile or a kiss from ours children but many times they forget to do this.
Have a beautiful day.

Hi red, Thank you for this wonderful post. I couldn't agree more. My own mother passed away 25 years ago but she was a real mother and just loved her family. She understood that kids were meant to be kids. I think that when it comes to the way we look at them at different stages in our life, it can apply to both parents. Blessings.

Very very true ^_^ I like the way it says, how we are measured on our growth, by marking Mana, Mom and finally to mother.. It's real.. When we are young, mama or mommy is used as it's the easiest and most kiddish way of all.. As we grow up, mom will be a more formal way and lastly comes to mother, when we ourselves became parents too ^_^
NO wonder mothers, are always said to be the greatest or all times, because they do really give alot, and expect nothing much in return.. All they want, and see, is the kids doing well in everything and wanna them be happy.. ANd to them, be it we are 4yr old or 80, we will always be a kid to her ^_^

Thank you very much for posting this and we should dedicate it to all the mothers here and everywhere! There are just certain things that you can't understand and will never experience until/unless you are a mother!

Very interesting information indeed and thanks for posting your insights into the wonders of motherhood. I have a small boy myself and he means the world to me. I enjoy everything you had to present here with your post and it makes so much sense.
Being a mother is one of the most special things in the world.

yes it's true and i agree with it,you can say that become a real mother is based ont he experieince and how long she is become a mother and her beauty is can be seen in her soul.
Me, i can say that im not yet a real mother.I don't have much experience i still young and i am working it.
Happy posting.

Hi Red. I love the poem. It's great for mothers. I am a mother myself but unluckily I have no more mother to dedicate this to. Anyway, thanks for posting this. Cheers

That was the cutest mom poem i've read in awhile. It really made a lot of sense whether your an out of the house working mom or a mom that stays home you still get the same household frustrations. Then as the years go by and your kids go through their stages you wish you could get those years back when your kids drove you nuts..Really they didin't drive you nuts at all they kept you on your toes. Thanks for sharing that poem with us
