Through months of suffering financial hardship and having borrowed from all and sundry, I have come to the conclusion that the most generous and charitable of people are those most in need themselves.
Do the math. If a person who has 1000$ gives 10$, that 1% of their capital, if someone who has 100$ gives 5$, thats 5% of their money they have given.
I seem to have been helped by those who have little or nothing themselves, those that do have "money" have begrudgingly "loaned" me money and want it back with interest.
Not a question, I know, but just an observation I have made.

It does seem that way ... wait ...it is that way, unfortunately. Those who have enough would argue that they have worked hard to have just enough and since they think they'll be needing all of it, they find it hard to cough it up for the benefit of someone else.
Those who dont have on the other hand, knows how it is, and therefore feels to others in the same situation. When they do have something, even if its not enough and they'll be absolutely needing it, they'd give it to others who dont have anything at the moment. Anyway, thats just what I think about it.

I think so. When I was little, the one who help us was the one who eat like us and live like us. My mother used to go to our relative to borrow some money but instead we were turned down because of nothing. I pity my mom. Having rich relatives doesn't help.
