wedding anniversary...how do you celebrate?

It's our wedding anniversary today... my hubby and i went out, with our kids. We ate in Italianni's restaurant, and then we stroll along the mall. We bought some of our grocery stocks and then during the afternoon, we went home and i prepared Carbonara for our dinner with the assistance of my daughter. after cooking, we ate our dinner together and then we watched television... this is how we had celebrated our anniversary today, but even if we just did simple things, we had fun together... i guess it's not how expensive you've spent for your anniversary, but having fun time with the family is what really counts...

After we had children, we went out one time by ourselves to dinner on our anniversary. It was on our 4th anniversary and our son was 2 months old. The rest of the time, we took them out with us. When we had to go out without them, we felt guilty. Now we just go out and have dinner by ourselves. But back then, it was great to have our children along with us. After all, they are part of us!

We just figured we'd have plenty of time to go out as a couple when our children were grown. And, we do. Those are memories we have to look back on when we are now out by ourselves. We just never felt like we had to go out by ourselves when our children were home. I just didn't like leaving them with someone else while we went out and ate a good meal. We always wished we had them with us even when we couldn't because of it being a job-related thing.

Happy wedding anniversary to you and hubby. May there be many more years of blissful marriage. People seldom reach their 10th anniversary nowadays and are already splitting so like you I have gone through 26 times wedding anniversary and am still happily married. We normally have a cake and family gathering with photo session to mark the day. It is great your children have joined mama and papa in this joyous occasion. They surely have a good example to follow when they get married one day.

both of our two anniversaries were celebrated in two different resorts. and we plan to do it this way yearly=) our anniversary falls on summer so this definitely is a good way to celebrate it and since there are countless resorts here in the philippines, i'm sure we'll never run out of a resort to go to.

Happy Anniversary to both of you.. well, we usually go out and pamper ourselves by pigging out at our favorite restaurants like Fridays and Mediterranean.. then if we still have the budget, we watch a good movie or go shopping.. next year would be our fourth anniversary. I hope it would be something different this time, an out-of-town trip will do..

First we go to church, then if have enough budget we stroll to the mall with the kidz but if the budget is tight we simply celebrate it at home by buying Lechon Manok, or a Fried Chicken and ate it together in the house. The most important to us is that we reach in that year succesfully even in stormy days in our married life.

Hi First of all I would like to convey my best wishes to you and your hubby. Undoubtedly this moment is one of the greatest moment of any couple's life. Many times I heard people saying that anniversary gets faded with the number of years completed. However I would like to comments against this saying that anniversay is a milestone of sucess that two of you share. It is a sucess that proves your love for each other and nobody wants to discontinue this sucess. Money is not at all a factor. In my(our) case we were not a millionair before marriage and still we live a life of middle class family. However this does not stop celebrating our special moments like a king. With hectic work pressure and other responsibilities we dont get time to sit and discuss about our life together; this is the time when sit together and spent some quality time discussing only about ourselves. This is the time we like to do all small and crazy stuff and revive our sweet memories. Also we discuss about our future course of action that will directly or indirectly drive our family as a whole. Wish you a very happy aniversary once again

thank you monudjn :) you are right, money is not the most important factor in celebrating anniversaries, but the moment spent with them... every second counts :) like what you've said, having quality time and reviving the sweet memories are really great and sweet :)

Hi Nhey, our anniversary wedding falls on early December and this is the month we normally have long holidays, so that we have much time to celebrate this great day relaxingly and cheerfully. All the time we like to have simple celebration and we don’t have to spend much in preparing anything for this day. Here we have lots resorts which are located at beautiful beaches or mountains. Normally we would spend few days in one of these resorts to enjoy the peaceful and pleasant environment as well as the delicious food there. Usually we could enjoy the fresh and yummy seafood if having vacation at the beach resort. We prefer to take seafood at seafood restaurants which are about ten minutes drive away from the resort. The foods served there would be much fresher and the way they cook are more tasty. What's more we have more choices when choosing dishes. posting and have a nice day.

As long as you two were together, got to spend some time together, the rest doesnt matter. Our anniversary was a few weeks ago. He got me some roses, which he has never done since we have been together since I had this issue with them dying and such... but lately as I kept seeing flowers, and the tradition and all, I kept feeling sorry at the fact that I wasnt too keen on the idea of flowers, or actually, that I had ever voiced it. We hung out all day, went out to a little dinner at night, and then went to work, I helped him with something he had to do that night at work. It is all about being together, and loving that moment as well.

we have celebrated anniversaries before, but not wedding anniversaries, just an anniversaries as boyfriends and girlfriends, we usually celebrate it over dinner or lunch, we'll go to our favorite barbecue house hear my boarding house and we would eat there, and later on we would watch a movie, and he would bring me home but talk for a while first about our plans, and our dreams together, things like that, all anniversaries was especial!!thanks for sharing, and happy lotting...

Congrats! It's now your wedding anniversary! In our anniversary celebration. well just like your way. Simple and romantic. We simply greet each other and let the day passed as an ordinary day. There is no extra ordinary thing to happened except for the greetings and he give me some flowers came from the flower of any plants he saw along the way home. Even it was a flower of a small plants or a flower of unwanted plants any plants that has a flower. And if we have time we go out and celebrate our anniversary if he still remember the day we are celebrated. What an extra ordinary isn't? That's the way we celebrated our wedding anniversary. But we still love each other.

Happy Wedding Annivasary! Wish you all the best on your annivasary! ou seemed to have had a great time - I agree its not how much money you spend on to celebrate something, its how much you enjoy the company of yr loved ones. My husband and I usually go out for a meal and spend the day together on our annivasary.
