It was so sudden. They were so in love, were steadies for six years, planned to get married next year in the summer. She was in class, teaching that afternoon when she suddenly blacked out in front of her students. She was rushed to the hospital, and was immediately taken to the ICU. In coma, she was declared brain dead. The doctors said she had brain aneurysm, and had her hooked up on respirator. In barely two days, her heart gave up on her. My nephew was devastated. He is now on denial. We could feel his pain and it leaves a knot in our stomachs seeing him this way. We can never find the right words to tell him how much we are sorry that this has had to happen to them. He has refused to hear and speak of anything about Dada. He would rather take his pain in silence. I felt I had to write about it to share to you, my friends in myLot. This way, it would relieve me somehow of the pain we feel for the loss my nephew has to bear. Thank you.
