Contact lens or glasses?

I prefer glasses over contact lenses. I did a trial with contact lenses a couple of years back and man, I do not like having to deal with rinsing them, trying to place them in my eyes, etc etc. One time I got scared when one of the lenses got up too far in my eye and I had to blink it back down to get it. See, I like glasses because I have to do is get some solution and wipe them down if they are too dirty. There are so many trendy glasses that when it is time to pick out a new pair, you get to fashion them in the mirror and see which ones say you. The only thing you can do with contact lenses is get them in different colors or even patterns which are not suitable for everyday wear anyway.

I wear glasses now. I don't care of others consider contacts to be fashionable. My glasses look fine. 3 Years ago, I started having pain in my right eye and went to the eye doctor. He told me if I hadn't gone to see him when I did, I would have gone blind. My scratched permanently and infected to the point that I needed to take antibiotics by mouth and drops in my eyes. MY eyes are still not good all because of contacts. It's not worth it!

I prefer both. I use contact lenses whenever I go out of the house - to work or to mall. It feels better to look at things when I use contact lenses. Much better, much clearer. On the other hand, I use my eyeglasses at home. This is to relax my eyes from using contact lenses. They say too much use of contact lenses may cause your eyes to have some sort of rashes or something. Though eyeglasses cause your eyes to get higher grades, I still use them at home.

I used to prefer contacts but after finding out the damage they were doing to my eyes, I now prefer glasses and rarely wear contacts anymore!

I use both. But when I go out at night and eyeglasses will hinder my work I put on the lenses. Hot summer days really make my nose sweat a lit so I use contacts so that I could use my sunglasses. But since I started teaching and I know I need to look mature so I always wear my glasses. But if its not that complex, I wish wear contacts as often as possible. Take care =)

glasses. i forget things easily. chances are i'll forget to take off the contact lenses and end up with an eye irritation.

i have never tried wearing contact lenses but i always like the idea of wearing one. i have always asked my dad if i could buy a pair for me but he always said no. he feels that it is dangerous for the eyes because im sticking a foreign object in my eye. one false move can also make me loose my contacts, and sometimes because i am forgetfull, i might forget to take it off when i sleep. so i have realized what my father said and stuck with glasses. its easy to use and these days there are a lot of fashionable glasses to use that wearing glasses would look cooler than wearing contact lenses

i think glases are best becaz we should take lots of care for lens . Often using lens in hot areas and while cooking may cause them to melt and lots of problem to eyes. They look trendy but we wil not feel comfort with them .
