I learn to install software long time ago, but installing hardware is more complicated. I learn to install hardware only for 4 years. My friend teach me how to install the first one....
How about you? Do you know how to install software or hardware? Anyone teach you?

Assembling a PC these days is a lot easier then those components manufactured few years back. The connectors have heads that are of specific shape and sizes preventing users from hooking up the components wrongly resulting in short circuits etc. New casing designs does not require users to use screws for securing components into place...

I know how to install both. Software is pretty self explanatory for the most part. I learned how to install hardware from a vocational school I go to.

I've been installing software from the early 90s when I worked as an IT Trainer. I did a course years ago called "Installation, upgrading and maintenance of PCs" (funnily enough I was the only female on the course)! I set up my own PC a couple of times back then. These days, machines come ready made according to what you want cheaply enough so I haven't had to install any hardware myself for years and as you get out of practice you kind of forget how to do it. If I had to, I guess I would look it up on the net and am fairly confident I could do it myself but it would just take a bit of time :)
