A helpful tip (hopefully)

Hello folks. I thought I'd post a tip my partner received to help with weight loss. It's not some crazy "lose forty pounds in twelve minutes!" thing, but just an extra help if you're eating a healthy diet and doing exercise and so on.
The tip is: do not eat a main meal in the evening.
Eat normally, eat well during the day. By avoiding a heavy meal late in the day (yes, you should eat -something- in the evening, silly!), you avoid having a large numebr of calories being produced while you're sleeping and not burning many. As I said, not a miracle diet in and of itself; just another thought to add to your healthier lifestyle!

Hi STLobster, thanks for sharing the tip here to help to prevent the putting on weight. Lol ... for me the appetite during evening especially late evening is extremely good. It seems like my stomach couldn’t be full though I have taken lots of food. It’s weird that my appetite is not so good during morning. I know actually morning is the best time for us to take more nutritious and healthy food. Then afternoon take lesser and the rest of the time we would better take as lesser as possible. Anyway thanks again for reminding me not to take main meal in the evening and have exercise regularly as well. Hopefully we could keep fit and healthy all the time.
posting and take care.

I think this is very major information. Thank you for passing it on to us! there are so many little things to know and remember. One less now, huh?

Sounds like a good plan. Kind of difficult to do though when I "eat" lunch at work and it usually consists of a slimfast shake, not to be diety, but because I don't have time to eat a real lunch. I usually have meat and a go-with for dinner around 6pm. Breakfast is usually a cup of coffee or tea during my morning medication pass. Consequently, most of my calories are consumed after 4pm when I get home.

Thats what they used to do in the old days. They would have a big breakfast then they would have the main meal around 2 pm. Then at dinner time they would have a lighter meal. it does make perfect sense. then after you eat you take a walk or do something physical.
