Uh that's a bit tough if you don't have a whet stone which you can manually sharpen and get rid of the rust accumulated on the knives. I use a whet stone, more like a a rough rectangular stone bar. That's how I get rid of the rust along with some oil and of course it sharpens the knives easily too. Or you if you don't want to have to do that since the knives are still sharp but want to remove the rust. Try chopping some onions with the rusty area of the knife. The onion's juice will help loosen remove the rust. Do this till till no rust is left. Usually takes just one onion per rusty knife. Just redo it with more onions if your knife's rust is really thick and tough. As with all knives rusty or not, take extra care please! cheers!

You're welcome. You can find a whet stone at a knife or hardware store. There are various sizes you to chose from. These shouldn't be too expensive. That really depends on where you are. Out here we can get one less than $10 equivalent to our currency.

multiple ways,
1 CLR: Calcium Lime Rust, is a bottled product you can find at walmart.
2 Brasso and aluminum foil, dont reccomend though, maybe steel wool.
and 3: put it in a bucket of water with baking soda, attach one end of a car battery charger to the knife (negative end i think) and attach the positive end to a piece of steel and plug the charger in, the rust will lift of through hydrogen electrosis, do not do indoors though, hydrogen gas will be created and can explosde if not ventalated.
