Are you allowed to smoke in front of your parents ?

I am an adult , i am allowed to do anything but i still fear smoking in front of my parents , its not fear actually rather a feeling of guilt , that i don't smoke in front of them .
Do you smoke when your parents are around ?
Dont you feel awkward if you do ?

I started smoking in front of my mother at about 16. I had already been smoking without her knowledge for 8 years. But, since I was working and buying my own (and not stealing hers) she didn't care that much. If they know that you smoke, then why feel nervous? You are, as you say, an adult

yeah maybe you are right , i should not keep them blind , and its better perhaps to commit it myself rather than them finding it out !

I'm an adult and I smoke in front of my adopted mother, it doesn't bother her nor me. I don't feel awkward at all. But then again I'm a bit different. I've been smoking since I was 12 minus the 8 months I was preg w/ my beautiful twin daughters (and NOT I do not smoke in my home).
It would be different for each person depending on their relationship with their parents.
