I'm Back and Moving On With My Life

It's been a while since I've logged onto My Lot. A lot has happened in my life since I've been on this site and I have decided to give it another try.
I have also decided to move on with my life. I currently live in Ohio. I'm sick of my job and Ohio. I've lived in Ohio for most of my life. I feel like I need to move on and explore other opportunities. I need a change. Change is good, no?
I'm thinking of either moving to West Virginia, or New York. I have a brother that lives in West Virginia. New York sounds exciting, plus my family roots are there.
If you were able to move on with your life and get out of the state where you are now, where would you move?

I think we all go through stages where we feel a need to move on, I always feel this way when things tend to go wrong I live in the city and sometimes I think I would like to move to a small country town, I know a couple of people who did that and their lives changed completely, new lifestyle, new friends...maybe I will one day...I feel like I could do that these days as well.

littlebeansprout I am sorry about your mother, I know this can be a hard time, both my parents are gone now and i know that when this time happens it puts in a fork of the road type situation, tour life has changed drastically and it makes you feel where do I go now, we all do have to make decisions at these times and we feel a move may the thing but it just also mean there needs to be someone or something new in your life or just a different way of living, losing a parent is a huge thing, you have lost a part of you, just take time to grieve ans settle, things always do work out and maybe a new life in a different area just might be the ticket but take your time,...the old saying of one door closes can mean about this type of thing in life as well...take care...
