You are so right on that last part. I used to have a facebook account before I deactivated it- partly due to a slight addiction. The College I attend it pretty small with a student population of less than two thousand, so everyone gets to know everyone in no time. If someone sees you or notices you on campus they tend to add you without having ever been introduced. So in a way, you know the friends you have but it would be more appropriate to call it "acquaintances." Before I deactivated, it was the first and last website I would check whenever I got on a computer.

Yea. I have that issue to here at school. I hated it when the feed had come out though. And then myspace decided to do it too. But facebook was just so addictive with all it's application.

I agree with this. It is nice to be able to keep in touch with old friends and family members. I am also grateful for these sites. :)

I know! and the thing is, they don't get paid like mylot. I mean, mylot has friends you probably will never meet too, but I have a feeling our discussions can be more interesting then facebook or myspace.

Hey there,
What you are commenting on...Is similar to what you are reading now!...Only this site pays you for your opinions and Facebook is for socialising...My sisters and my Mama lives in Australia...With Facebook I can keep up to date with them and see how my nephews are growing and doing...I keep in touch with friends this way and have met alot of undesireables and made alot of friends there...Try it...I have managed to form bonds with people in the UK, the States, Croatia, Turkey, Australia etc...You are right...we may never meet in person, but some of my friends call me from their countries to just say hi...Good Luck to you.

yes i guess we have nothing else to do. but who cares, right? we love seeing people, we love to communicate, actually "we must" communicate, we love to know what's going on with some people we know right across the globe. so yes, we nothing better to do, except to get on touch. when the time comes when you're the only one left on earth, you will surely miss it!
