Recently I was diagnosed with Arthritis in my hips, the right is far worse.
This has meant weekly physio, and at 49, because of limited exercise going forward, I'm , seeing a dietician.
My weight is already a problem since i've been unable to do manual labour, and now I need to lose a fair amount to reduce health risks...diabetes and heart problems.
Because I am a very fussy eater, things like smoked salmon, tuna, cream cheese, yoghurt and most recommended 'diet'foods are not on my menu, i'm hoping someone in a similar situation can help.

Gee 49 is a young age to be faced with arthritis, sometimes if you try some foods cooked in various ways it can make you aprreciate those foods more. I prefer not to eat meat but I don't like all that many vegetables but recently at a restaurant, one of these ones where it is a small meal with only three things on the plate I had asparagus which I normally would not eat but they had an orange sauce type thing over them and I loved them...i hope someone can suggest a few things for you....take care.

Asparagus...yuk!!
thanks for the tip, but my exercises and 'rehab'will hopefully get me back in the workforce, sooner rather than later.
During my online travels i have come across many women in particular with far worse health issues than mine.
Lets hope we all live long and prosperous lives, t/c.
