This is a sad story with a better ending..Apparently Police say the 14-year-old ran away from a boot camp-style school for teens Monday and hid in a recycling bin filled with cardboard.
The bin was picked up by a Waste Management truck and dumped into the vehicle’s rear compactor.
Waste Management spokeswoman Lynn Morgan says the truck continued on its collection route, compacting cardboard several times.
The boy wasn’t discovered until the truck dumped its load at a recycling processing center.
He was semiconscious and was taken to a hospital, but police say his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

This is soo sad..I now wonder exactly how bad the boot camp was for him,he may have been a troubled child..and all i understand that.but there is a point that these people also need to relize thay they are stiil CHILDREN!! And to have the poor boy jide in a GARBAGE DUMPSTER!! What does that tell you how bad it was? I am so thankful the boy will be ok..hes lucky i have seen what the compaters do..hes lucky he wasnt smooshed like a bug!!! So my question is..do u agree with these kind of bootcamps? and what would you do if it was your kid hiding in a dumpster from these people?? I dunno..I know it would deff make me rethink what i feel about boot camps for teens now..and you?

This is a very bad story and I hope that something like this does not happen at all. Life is so full of threats and dangers and this kind of thing is absolutely unthinkable.

I am a teenager myself, and I will say that I don't want to go to a boot camp. Many people make boot camps sound harsh and hard and the 14 year old probably didn't want to be there anymore if it was like that. So yea I would deffinitely reconsider a choice of boot camp. I hope that he is ok and will have a fast recovery.
