I see post after post about sites, and opportunities but very little on how to become successful. Why are there no discussions on how to become successful. We should be talking about the ways to approach succesful marketing. How to achieve goals. There are no secrets, it is people just do not know what to do. I have been at this for many years and I can tell you that the reason 95% of people fail is because they do not have a clue. You join a program...now what? How to you get referrals? What types of products do you have and where do you market them. How do you market them? You have to want to learn to be successful, you have to work, there is no do nothing get rich opportunity out there. There are no secrets. So help one another by sharing things that lead to success.

Sounds good to me. I have been having some trouble with my puter so I had to shut down and reboot. Seems good now though. I am going to finish up and go survey the damage to the cages. The wind was relentless and i know the plastic got blown cause I got wet trying to fix it. Thanks for the answer.

I think you have to be a real salesmen and go getter to be successful online, and that's not my personality. I've never been a salesmen or recruiter, or even a leader... I guess I'm destined to make pennies online, but I enjoy the pennies and have had fun learning the ropes. I just started working on making money online about two months ago and I've now made about $30.00. Its not much, but it is pocket change. I'm thinking I'm going to donate my online earnings to a family that is struggling this x-mas so I'm going to try to kick it into gear and earn a little more this month.

Pennies make dollars and dollars make thousands so on so forth. Some opportunities online do require real salesmen and go getters these are direct sales people but there are many things out there that do not require leads, follow up phone calls, audio conferences, conventions on and on. I think Surveys are good simple ways to make some online cash and I do this myself because I enjoy them for one and also surveys are a function of customer service to determine positive and negative feedback.

Looking back to my past experiences in sales where at one time I felt I was successful,at first no doubt I'd be successful making money online just thinking applying the positive mental attide, hardwork, patience and everything I learned being in sales for a long time. However I found it differrent it's much easier to recruit sales people that would be your downlines than the referrals you need online. So, the first site where I gave all my time, my focus gain me so many friends but less earnings now my 2nd site, mylot is quite better as though referrals will be of help but having your focus, patience and your own performance will result you to a quite bigger earnings. Maybe there are some who's being successful online but they have to invest money where most of us can't do at the moment. However I do welcome sharing of things among us online people that would lead to success. Thanks friend for starting this discussion, I know you have a lot to share.

Ms Bing,
My dear friend I can not wait for my company to go international I thought they were going to announce that in Las Vegas last month, however they announced the Web 2.0 platforms they are adding to there marketing systems. With a billion dollar company partnering with them I can see endless potential internationally when they do so. I think probably first of the year and your are my wish for the Phillipines.*smile*

Maybe just like in sales in order to be successful. you must have a product knowledge, right attitude and you must know how to handle objections...You have to recruit people to join, or in order to organize your group. Train them to become successful like you...

This is a good question. I am part of a private blog group. We have a clear plan to achieve our goal. Due to the nature of the program, I can't make the content public. It's a proven strategy and our members are working together to achieve it.
If you are a blogger who maintains a personal blog, I welcome you to join our group. We earn and share the earnings.
Enough said.
Happy Mylotting.

*smile* more secrets, well one thing is correct and that is a team concept. I am a blogger and write internet content, and there is no secret about the opportunities in blogging. It is about subscribers, traffic and content, so you should be sharing your methods of doing just that getting subscribers, writing content and getting traffic to the blog.

Hi,
I think you have a point. The driving traffic to a blog/site sounds like seo. This involves key words, the meta tag, and trying to get higher search engine rankings, so that more traffic will find and visit your site/blog.
I know some about direct sales, but not much about marketing. I think this is possible if you work hard, and have patience.

I would say that most who are trying to market on line do not have a clue about SEO and meta tags and keywords and how they apply to getting better positions on search engines. The main thing relevant to success with online marketing is getting the traffic. How do we do that? I was hoping this discussion would open up so that people will learn somethings to help them. What is niche products? There are so many different avenues to success that it is like a puzzle. When you have all the pieces(knowledge)(terms)then you can develope a system based on what you know and not on what you do not know. Example: a basic definition of niche product is one of a smaller speciality group of potential clients.....say your product is a Yo Yo and you want to sell your Yo Yo to people who want Yo Yo's.....you do not market your Yo Yo at a traffic exchange when the potential client is there to get traffic not Yo Yo's so you would market it where?ummmmm maybe a website or blog that Yo Yo's have some significance, how bout a site that features the World Championship Yo Yo trick competition.
