when we were kids we didnt know that santa was imaginary. But the idea of santa makes us feel good in a way. That a stranger would give toys to our children makes the world seem safer and easier to cope with.it adds a bit of "magic" to an otherwise bleak time of year.I'd say the toy companies are happy for this myth to continue!

It makes christmas more exciting for the kids, and provides parents with a way to get their kids to behave the entire month of December..."You had better be good..Santa is watching you know!" Works like a charm!

Hi yagi7uda, to every kid, of course including me as well, Santa clause is always an amiable old friend to me and almost every kid. Lol I always hope what I want would materialize in Christmas morning by looking in the big sock which I hang it on the Christmas tree before going to bed in the late Christmas Eve night.
Very often I would jump and shout aloud happily the following morning when seeing the stuff I was keen to have was sitting right in the sock. Our parents love us very much and they would fulfill our dream by placing the gift that we were eager to have in the sock after we went to bed. I know very well they always will try their best to make us happy in this merry Christmas day. Yeah, our parents always play the lovely role of Santa clause in our life. Of course after marriage, my husband will be my Santa clause
posting and take care.

it is because we are used on the thought of there is really santa!!but i just think that is the one thing that kids must experience its just happy thinking that every christmas eve santa clause will come to our house to give gifts to those kids who are good and done good things, really i would say it was a wonderful feeling, and even if i have my own kids, i will also made them believe that their is santa!!
