I think they are right. With a childhood sweetheart, you know her more thanyourself.youhave eseen her as a kid and know her strengths and weakensses. Nothing is hidden and if you still love her there is nothign that can break the love. Love whcihtakes place later is one in which you jsut project your strengths and hide your weaknesses and when you get married the weakness come in front so chances of break up ar more.

i dont think so, it really depends, but im hoping that my childhood sweetheart would be my husband to be, we were boyfriends and girlfriend before way back on our highschool and early college, but we have to parted ways because he have to go to city to study and lost contacts, now we have communication but still havent talked bout it, but im looking forward, still the feeling is here!!heheheh, but not expecting too much, until now we are far from each other!!

I think for some people it is. I met my fiance when I was 13, dated for 6 months and broke up. Got back together in gr.11 and have been together ever since. 10 years later we have a house and 2 beautiful boys together...but still no wedding. LOL.

It defense who's your soul mate is. I believe that we have a soul mate, that God preferred us our partner for life. And I can make to be a best spouse even not in my childhood sweetheart, because being a best spouse is defend on you how you make being best in your spouse. Maybe there are advantages for being childhood sweetheart, but there are still disadvantages.
