Do you take a Multi-Vitamin?

I know that I try to eat well, but I may not get allof the nutrients that I need. I don't always eat right due to being in a hurry and not having enough time to eat. So, how do we know which vitamins to take and which one has most of our daily needs. Do you yourself take a multi-vitamin?

I take Revicon Forte. It's kind of cheap but it's ok since i only need iron because i stay up late. It'll do. It gives me stomach cramps sometimes but it's ok. A little exercise and iron will be enough to keep me going.

I take a great multi-vitamin and mineral compound. Because we have been depleting our resources, our fruits/vegetables/livestock no longer have the nutrients we need in them. We definitly need to take a suppliment of some sort even if we do eat healthy. The ones I take are actually the only ones that have been proven to assists your body in protecting/producing anti-oxidants. I've been using them for over 2 years, harldy ever get sick and I feel much better than I used to!

I do take natural food supplement. I make sure that it is 100% natural and not synthetic because taking synthetic vitamins will in the long run hurt our liver and kidney. I am regularly taking virgin coconut oil and mulunggay capsule and that has been doing great to me. Actually if you want to save you can take malunggay juice by just picking malunggay leaves in your backyard. Boil a glass of water and the add as much as malunggay leaves it can accomodate then after it boils again take out from the fire and drink the extract like a tea. Do it twice daily and see how it will work wonder on you as time passes by. I know that you have history of cancer in your family so my friend please allow me to take this opportunity to impart to you the valaue of the lowly malunggay which many people do not know. My sister who is diagnosed at the first stage of cancer of the cervix is not slowly healing because of malunggay and other natural food supplements I am giving to her. Malunggay is very cheap and affordable and certainly it will not cost you that much if you will take time to prepare malunggay juice for yourself and your mom as well. I want to share this peace of information about malunggay if in case you are still not aware. If you are already aware then I hope others who could read will also be benefited: "One hundred grams or 1 cup of cooked malunggay leaves contain 3.1 g. protein, 0.6 g. fiber, 96 mg calcium, 29 mg phosphorus, 1.7 mg iron, 2,820 mg ß-carotene, 0.07 mg thiamin, 0.14 mg riboflavin, 1.1 mg niacin, and 53 mg ascorbic acid or vitamin C. The antioxidant activity of malunggay is about 71%, with µ-tocopherol (vitamin E) equivalent of 45. Malunggay leaves are an excellent source of vitamin A and B, and minerals such as calcium and iron. It is even an excellent source of protein, being higher than the amino acid pattern of Food and Agriculture Organization-reference protein, yet contains very low fat and carbohydrates. The leaves are incomparable as a source of the sulfur-containing amino acids methionine and cystine, often the natural minerals humans lack. Due to its high vitamins A, C, and E, which are very potent antioxidants, malunggay is a very good quencher of unstable free radicals that can react with and damage molecules that cause aging. Antioxidants reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They also prevent the onset of various chronic diseases like arthritis, cancer, and heart and kidney diseases. Malunggay contains the phytochemical niaziminin, which is found to have molecular components that can prevent the development of cancer cells (Faizi et al., 1992) and correlated with inhibitory ability against superoxide generation. The first naturally-occuring thiocarbamates, novel hypotensive agents niazinin A, niazinin B, niazimicin and niaziminin A and B were isolated from malunggay. Malunggay is called ?miracle vegetable? because it is not just a food, it is also a medicine."

Hi jane! Yes I do take a multivitamin! I have been taking one for quite a few years now. I started off taking Centrum. I took that for a long time. When I turned 54 I decided to change to Centrum Silver. It says that it has some extra vitamins like more calcium and zinc and some other stuff that is good for people that are a bit older. So I have now been taking the Centrum Silver for about a a little over one year. I don't really know if it makes a big difference or not. I just know that it can't hurt.
