girls, when are we ever going to stop shopping!?

I am normally very good at not doing too much shopping. But lately I've been really bad and have done a lot. I can't shop anymore though, I've run out of closet space. I was in bad need of a new wardrobe though.

I have a great trick to keep me from over shopping. I will check out something that I really fall for and then I will stop myself and ask myself "Is this a want or a need?" Usually it's just a want. Also I am trying to down size the amount of stuff I have in the house so I don't buy a lot of stuff. I allow myself to go out and shop for clothes a couple of times a year. This year I am allowing myself more money to get clothing...I always shop the bargain rack so I get more for my money and my favorite department store will mark stuff down by 90% at times...and this includes shoes so I can get tons of stuff for my money. If it isn't on sale I really stop and think about whether I can really use the item or not. Usually it works out that I put it back. The best thing I learned about self control is the whether it's a want or a need. It's amazing how much stuff you put back when you realize that it is a want and not a need.

Never ....Its our Birthright I love to shop ....no matter how many clothes i buy , there always one dress that i still want to buy so badly ....but since now I am low on my finances i just go for window shopping ...and whenever I find some interesting that i ought to buy , I always tell myself " there's something better for me " or "this won't look good on me "...Although I regret it later but somehow it works out

i know tell me about it! i shop all the time, especially when i know that i can afford it haha. i so need to stop pronto coz i think it's about time i start saving up seriously. next time if you wanna buy something try asking yourself why would you want to make other people richer and yourself poorer? i'm sure we can resist this temptation to shop, it just takes great determination and discipline

Yea tell me about it. I'm a shop a holic! But I haven't been shopping in almost 6 months only just for groceries now n that's it. I don't have the money to be spending anymore. When I shop I spend wayyy to much money then I dont have enough for bills etc. So my bills and stuff comes first then what money I do have left Ill use on myself or save it for next month when the next bills our due. I wish we weren't soo addicted to shoppin then I would be rich! Wish I was rich then i'd shop everyday all day long! lol!
