Is Passive Income achievable by using the Internet?

Can someone make real money, replacing active income from typical day jobs by surfing the internet, participating in PTC programs and such? How about those "stay at home jobs" websites that has one time registration fees online? How can we tell if it's legal? I'm sure there are a lot out ther who would need some experienced advice on this... Can anyone give their insights, experience, or expert advice?

It is definately possible to get a large income through the Internet. Although most people say you would have to have money to invest in it too. It's also not easy at all. You really need to spend a lot of time and knowledge I think.
