i used to beat up my computer when i was small but now when my computer hanged or not responding I'll just leave it and do something else like watching TV or take some snacks to eat and check up on it once awhile until its in idle.

Well...this is an example of over reacting to a common problem. Why would you hit the computer when it hangs where all you need to do is to hit the reset button. By hitting your computer, you might injuried your limbs, cause internal damage to the components and therefore resulting in major lost. I think it may simply be displacement of ones anger on the computer when it is not the main contributor to your emotional outrage.

When I was a little kid I used to beat my computer because I couldn't figure out how it worked sometimes. Especialy sometimes when I thought I did the right thing and it wouldn't work or a game wouldn't load. Now I don't touch them anymore and just find the mistake I've been making. Just find a solution carefuly when you're calm and if it's stressing you then you should definately consider a small break.
