Wow, so you can say I have a very exciting life. In my primary days I have a group of friends and we call ourselves the pretty girls. We still keep in touch. In my high school, the pretty girls added some members up to 9. Quiet big now. When I went to college, my first school, the whole class became good friends, and we call ourselves the "1C bunchoffools" because one professor named it to us for being so smart that he doesn't need to teach anymore. LOL. We still keep in touch and we plan to have a grand reunion ... 15th year on June 2010. Cool ... right? My second college school ... I got around 15 friends .. and we grup ourselves and call it the MS or Midnight Society because we always gather and sleep together in an apartment we rented just to study and I proudly say, we all pass... grandslam. We still have contacts but not as close s the "1C". When I started working I met different people, and in the work place I met 5 beautiful woman and we called ourselves "Miss U" ... whatever it means. LOL. many friends hat freaks out my mom. She said, I am very comfortable and occupied by my friends thats why I am not thinking of getting married. LOL. happy every day!!!

I have had many friends throughout my life. I have a couple close friends right now and a few more that I talk to and have a good time with at work but don't really have a relationship outside of work. My best friend in the entire world is my husband. My children are getting older and I have two that are just about 18 and at times we are able to be friends now although being their parent does and always will come first. I have two sisters-in-law that I am close with and I am very very close to my father. My mother and I haven't been close for quite a long time but she is trying to change and is doing a great job at making us an important part of her life again. I lost a very great friend recently. She was going through a lot of things and changed and due to the choices she was (and still is) making I cannot be around her or have my children around her right now. I still love her and have no anger towards her, I just can't be a part of of the life she has chosen. But I miss her and think of her every single day.
There are so many places to meet other people. You just need to get out and do the things that interest you and you will surly find others who have the same interests and then friendships can develop. I wish you good luck and even better friendships in the future :)

You may have to differentiate friends from acquaintances. People who know you very well and will be there whenever something significant happens to your life are friends. People who just know you and have no real connection are just acquaintances. And it is a sad fact, it is very hard to get real people as friends nowadays. Just enjoy and have fun though.

I dont really have any real friends. Maybe one or two. I have a few friends but I wouldnt say they are real friends because of what they have done to me.

I have so many friends, but one close friends. It is very difficult to get good friends now a days.Every one looks money to create friendship. If we have a lot money, then lot friends will gather around us.A friend in need is a friend indeed.

I have only a few friends, but I consider them true friendships. I rather have a couple of close friends than a bunch of acquaintances who I call friends.
I have one best friend (Zezloler xD) and I feel that I can tell her anything. No matter how depressed I get, a conversation with her always pulls me out of my slump. She makes me laugh and feel comfortable with talking about anything.
I have other awesome friends as well, but none that I think I can ever grow as close with to. I wish there was another word other than 'friend' to describe her as it sounds so... robotic..? xD (yet 'friendship' does not xD). Indeed, I think I've grown as comfortable around her as I would a sister.
I'd rather just have Masha than an army of 'friends'.
I seem to have gone off on a tangent describing my friend rather than answering your question. My humble apologies, sir. xD

I only have a few friends, but fortunately I couldn't ask for better relationships with them. In my opinion the number of friends you have doesn't matters - it's how your friends are and how they treat you. Luckily, my friends are honest, sincere, help me out, and I know I can confide in them anything. =)
Don't worry if you think you have no friends because I've been there many times. A few years ago, I had absolutely no one to talk to at school, for a long time as well, and I've never had anyone in school, only in my home country, with whom I've considered to have a real friendship with.
Friends are important in life, and anyone who has a true friend should be thanful, because that kind of relationship takes a very long time to create. ^_^
