I got up this morning to find out it's snowing (groan). It's too soon! (It's always too soon...) My raspberry plants are still producing, for heaven's sake!
Now, granted, it's "only" wet snow, mixed with rain, and will probably change to just rain, and both Toronto and Hamilton (probably other cities, too) are having their Santa Claus parade today, but I don't like it, all the same.
What is the weather doing today in your neck of the woods, and is there a parade?

I am one that really loves the snow.
All except the shoveling part I love.
It is so pretty looking especially around the holidays.
I hate when it's really cold and there's no snow on the ground.
Doesn't seem right without the snow then.

We had rain all day Saturday until around supper time when it began to turn into snow. The kids were out playing in the snow until 11:30pm last night! I tried to take a picture of the beautiful trees covered in snow but the snowflakes I couldn't see in the dark was all the camera would pick up. I took some pictures this morning (it's not snowing now) and will post them on Triond when I get a chance. It looks beautiful and is getting me into Christmas shopping mode. And best thing of all... GOLF SEASON IS OVER!!!

My husband doesn't golf in the snow, but he does have back-ups. Mostly he goes over to a buddy's house who has a big screen tv and a golfing video game. But at least he's only gone for a couple of hours rather than all day! We also have an indoor golf place here where you play virtual golf on a big screen using real clubs and balls.

It's been really cold out but I don't think there's snow yet. Just looked outside...no snow but it is really cold and we've had some snow clouds the last few days off and on. I don't mind the snow and actually like to look at it...I just don't like going out in it. My Dad lives in Michigan and he says they've already gotten snow.

Our Santa parade isn't until Dec 5th and it will be cold and snowy then! It is snowing here today too! I hate snow. I don't like scraping the vechicle, being cold, and everything about it. We have an 80% chance of snow today and tomorrow, so looks like we will be seeing the ground covered in snow before we know it.
It is nice for it to snow when the Santa parade is going on....but i would much rather go to parades in the middle of summer.

Well it's been snowing all day off and on but it hasn't "stuck" anywhere yet... ground's too warm still (warm being a comparative term...).

Oh yuck, I hate that sort of weather, cold and miserable. All morning we have had that really fine rain that does not look like it is too bad but it soaks you to the skin! I had to go out in it and take the kids to school and then I had to go shopping after. I had a hole in my shoe and my feet were absolutely freezing and soaked by the time I got home! But, at least it is not snowing as I hate the stuff!

Hi BarBaraPrz. We live far apart. lol I live in Florida. Today I got up to 40 degrees. I went to bed with the air conditioner and had to get up and turn the heat on. It's sunny today but cold. I like it cold for the holidays. I wish we could have snow for Christmas. It makes it feel more like the season. I grew up in New York so I miss it this time of year. Any other time, I like the warm weather we have. It's just this time of year, I would like a little snow. We've been in Florida for 28 years and I've only seen snow once or twice since we've been here. And it didn't last very long, melted quick.
I haven't heard of any parade but there has been a tree lighting already. They used to wait until after Thanksgiving but now it's coming earlier and earlier every year.

Today,Sunday, here in Minnesota it was chilly with snow flurries. Just a little stuck to the ground. But not too long ago we got a few inches that stayed for a couple days on the ground. Here's a shot of my house lit up for the holidays right after this snow started to fall. Theres about a half inch on the ground at the time this was taken. I am ready for snow, cold, ice, and maybe even a blizzard once this winter here in Minnesnowwwwta.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

It's not snowing here. We don't get much snow but I love to see it when we do. It is really cool here though and the sun is out right now. We have our parade this coming Saturday and I think we might go and take our son.

Yesterday I had 64 and rain, today I have 45 and still rain....we are supposed to have snow sometime this week and I have already driven home from work twice in the snow. I am not ready for it any more than you are....lol. We don't have any type of Christmas parades here, which seems odd since they have parades for everything else.

Hello BarBaraPrz. Sorry to hear you are disappointed in your weather. That can be very frustrating. I live in a warm southern US state. Our high temperature today was about 72 degrees fahrenheit, and that is a little cool for us this time of year. Our lemon tree is heavy with ripe lemons I need to pick and our grapefruit tree has many grapefruits on it that won't be completely ripe until late December.
We had a Christmas parade a few days ago, but I didn't go to it. Take care and keep warm.

We're starting to cool down quite a bit here after a whole week of really balmy, muggy days here in the big apple of NYC. But nope, no snow yet in the forecast and nope, no parade of any kind yet..The big one coming up will be that Macy's Day Parade on Thanksgiving Day where Santa makes his official appearance

The weather this past week around here has been really nice. Its kinda like the clam before the storm because anytime now i can expect a load of snow coming my way. When it does come the grounds are usually covered in it till late january.

I woke up this morning thinking nearly the same thing!!! I live in the Lake Erie snow belt where we get a lot of snow. I woke up and it looked like it had been snowing all night, I couldn't believe it! and then it continued to snow all day. I am excited but at the same time not ready for the snow at all...

Hey BarBaraPrz! I live in Michigan and it was snowing here today too! I HATE the snow...well the cold that comes with it anyway. My brother's birthday is on the 9th and he always has a real nice day but mine is on the 30th and it's usually cold, cold and snowing or cold and raining. One of the three. My kids are lucky because their birthday's are in the Summer time and so is my husband's. From what I saw on the weather reports, it's suppose to snow on Monday and then again on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The temps are only suppose to be in the low 30's to upper 20's. When I think of that it just makes me want to stay under the covers. Well, take care! I'm going to go and think of Summer now LOL!

As you may know, here in Canada we measure temps in Celsius, so upper 20's low 30's is roasting summer temps... if only...
