Some people choose to have several email addresses, ever wondered why we need all those addresses? I personally have four ...lol. I got one provided by my service provider, then one with hotmail, yahoo and gmail. I had the hotmail way back, infact it was my first. Then i signed up with yahoo and gmail for my internet businesses. What about you guys? How many do you keep? and if ok share with us why you have them.

you need several e-mail addresses for several reasons. say you are member of a safe list which consists of 2000 members, i am talking about 2000 but safe lists can be of 200000 members also, so every member will post something or other to the other members. suppose 50% of the members post a mail to the others in a day, so you will be receiving 1000 mails per day. now that will make it impossible for you to receive or read the emails you want to read received from your close contacts, isn't it? so for the safe list itself, you have to assign a separate e-mail address and for your normal mails, another. likewise, if you get a lot of mails daily, it is advisable that you have several mail addresses so you can check all the accounts, delete the unnecessary ones and read the ones you want to read.
