Its raining -- Its pouring...what to do?

It's been a very wet weekend where I live and now being Sunday the kids are fed up and bored.We spent most of yesterday in front of the TV watching movies.so i don't really need them watching anymore today. what sort of rainy day things do you do with your kids?

Set the kids up with a tent made from blankets over the dinning room table. Have the kids do a scavenger hunt. Have them find things using the alphabet. Bake some cookies and teach them about measuring and some math at the same time. Have them make a maccaroni or seed picture. make some home made clay and make some tree orniments. here is a site with some clay recipes.
