hello Tushavi.......In my yahoo mail, every day I am getting urgent notifications that I won lottery or different kinds of gifts etc etc.......Once I believed one of them and after some correspondence they asked for delivery charges, and that is how I understood that this is spam, just to fool us... also I thought in this selfish world who is going to give you so much money in gift.....so I just delete them now.....and I think you should do the same. Let's trust our hard work.......and thank God for whatever we have.

It is impossible to win something without joining, right? This is just another trick that they will offer you something and tell you its free then afterwards, will ask you enter your card number. It's a good thing that you don't believe them because there are many fake here in the internet. Trust only sites that you really know and don't give your card number recklessly on the net.

Hi tushavi, like the person above said, it's just a spam message, it's strange that your gmail account left that kind of message in your inbox, I also receive thousands of mails of those kind and all of them go to spam label.. and If I receive another kind of mail that gmail cannot filter, I just create a label for those mail and check them to go directly to the spam.. my filter include "Winner!!" or "Request payment today!" or words like that..

ignore it, it's spam. In fact, I'd make a habit of deleting your spam box every so often so you don't get sucked into these mails.

Nope, it's just a cheap trick they want you to send them your information so they can spam you through the mail.
If you haven't shopped and submitted your email anywhere, then it's usually fake.
