Learning comes if you respect your teacher

Learning is only attained if we respect our teachers. Respect is the doorstep towards learning. If one has no respect for teachers than that person can never learn anything. Therefore a student should be respectful towards his teachers and teachers should also be caring and honest in building the character of their students.

I'm a teacher and I agree with you. If the students respect me, then they seem to do the best in the class. I believe teaching respect starts in the home and many times a lot of children are not being taught morals and principles at home by their parents. My parents raised me with the old "respect your elders" quote and I believe that many people are not taught this. I've asked children if they respect their elders and they ask "What's an elder?" The lack of respect has gone up as well as the motivation to learn. But I believe it goes hand-in-hand with what is being taught or not taught at home.

You are right that learning comes from respecting out teachers. If we don't respect teachers of any sort we will be shut off to the things they are trying to teach. You can no like your teacher, but that doesn't mean you should disrespect them and not pay attention to what they have to say. YOu shut out what they are trying to do which only hurts you in the long run.

yeah, respect comes first. you will not learn really, if you don't respect your teacher.. you should be a good listener and you should participate discussion. Treat your teacher as your parents. Teacher actually is our second teacher at home. In my case i really respect my teacher, the way i respect my parents.
