Number of discussions didn't update?

I'm almost to that magic number of 500, and so I'm anxiously watching my posts increase.
I was at 494, and I posted 3 new discussions. When the first two were responded to, my number of posts went to 496. Then the third one got a response, and no change. It's still 496, even tho I waited a few minutes, I refreshed the page, etc.
Any ideas why? The third question was just asking if anyone had written anything to Obama on his change.org website as far as recommendations and suggestions -- so nothing bad or against the rules.

I know that I have at some time read that it takes a minimum of 2 responses for your discussion to add to your points total.

BTW you also to comment to a few of your responses (not just thank you which is not advised in the guidelines) which increases your earning but not your points.

You could have had a post deleted in a different discussion. Or you posted something in a different discussion and the entire discussion was deleted because somebody else violated guidelines. :( There is not much that you can do about that. :(

Thanks. I will remember that for the future. In this case, apparently I didn't wait quite long enough! I waited about 4-5 minutes!
As soon as I posted this discussion, I saw my number had gone up to 497. And now to 498 almost instantly when you responded to this one.
It's weird how it can be super fast one minute and super slow the next.

I notice now it's at 498. Perhaps the last one hadn't been updated when you refreshed your browser. Hopefully you will get credit for it.
