Your Computer or Your Spouse?

American women are in love...with their computers.
According to a new survey conducted by Harris Interactive, ninety-six percent of women who work in an office claim to like or love their computer, with the average woman spending nearly triple the amount of time daily with her computer than she spends with her significant other (9.3 hours compared to 3.6 hours).
Is it the same in your house = who comes first your computer or your spouse?

Hey,
Well, at the moment I don't really have a spouse so I would have to choose my computer. The only good things about computers is that they don't really argue with you lol.

well of course your going to spend more time with a computer if you work in an office than with your husband. Most people are at work a mojority of the day than not at home. so its not necessarly because they want to, but because they have too.

Well in my household, it is about equal time on the internet, every member of my family has a laptop to use, and surf the net.

As an internet addict, I mostly spend time with my laptop. Though I have time for my husband too. There are time for me to be in my laptop and there's also time to be with my husband. Internet as a mean of communicating to my family in Philippines, he understand if I sit most of the time in front of my laptop. If we are both home, I have to make it sure that I spend my time with him first before doing anything.

My spouse but I don't got one...
The thing you can like about computers though is that you cannot really argue, or fight with them. Since they are after all an innatimate object. Your spouse on the other hand, does all those things. But will always love you for who you are (in some cases, not all the time things are like that).
Computers don't really love you back, but you can use them to communicate with other people who will. XD

Oh my gosh! I never realized how much time I spend on the computer. I just thought my husband was being very needy when he nagged me about my lack of conversation. I spend 95% of my time on the computer whenever I'm at home. I have to have the internet with me constantly- even on my cell phone! I feel completely disconnected when I can't access my email or look something up.
I don't want to continue to ignore my family though. I think I'll begin to cut back a little and give them some more attention. :)
