Come one, Come All -- Global MyLot Eyeball

I am totally different online to offline my friend, you wouldn't recognize me if I went to a meeting because I am the total opposite, I would be shy, wary and probably wouldn't say much! I am not a social person and I find it extremely hard to socialize offline, online, no problems I easily make friends, in the outside world I haven't got the confidence or self esteem. I would love to meet my friends off Mylot trouble is it's not possible as I am in the UK and most of my friends are in the USA and other countries! So setting up a meeting place would certainly NOT be easy, but it's a wonderful thought!

That will be good, but i'm not sure if i will attend the meeting too.. hehe ^_^ Even though i will like to meet all my frenz in mylot, but i'm not really good in talking as compared to writing.. hehe ^_^ BUt at the same time, i'm really curious to see and know how are mylot frenz in real life.. Maybe i will start off with my old frenz in mylot, b4 i will arrange with meet ups with new frenz.. hehe ^_^

Hi Buabyfuzz, I have been blessed enough to meet with two of myLot friends and they wer both as lovely in real life as I expected them to be. In fact one did try to set up a meetin with quite a few of us within a certain area but it looks like it will be him, his wife and two others, myself included as so near Christmas, travelling costs etc. I am really loking forward to it though. I am quite shy until I get to know someone but felt immediately at ease in their company. Set something up it will be fun. Huggles. Ellie :D

hello babyfuzz, You do have a great idea about it. Although like what other members said, it's hard to have an eyeball to mylotters who are all over the world. But if there is an eyeball for Philippine mylotters, maybe I will take it into consideration although I also hope it would be near in my area. Anyway, you do have a brilliant idea about it.

The possibility is always there, babyfuzz! Though I really believe it is not possible, at the moment, for a worldwide meet-up, it is possible that myLot gatherings happen on a per country arrangement. Wouldn't it be nice meeting your fellow myLotters from the same country? It would really be a fun event! I wonder how many Pinoys are members of this worldwide phenomenon? If ever there'll be a myLot gathering in my country, the Philippines, I would love to join and meet up with you fellow Filipino myLotters!

I am the same person everywhere I go. I do not change. I do not tell a whole lot about my personal life in Mylot though. Some things are better left in the household.

I don't know if a general mylot get together is even possible... since members are from all over the world... so it would take months to organize such a thing... and the main problem is where is it going to be... most likely in the U.S. but where in the U.S.... i don't think i would ever be able to attend since i do not have the ways and means... So i will just have to read about it in discussions here in mylot...

I think a Global eyeball would be really difficult. But I think it'll be easier if its just per country. Like, you know...Phillippines MyLot eyeball or something. That'll be much more realistic. But a Global eyeball would be really interesting! Imagine all the people we could meet there. And be like, "OMG! Your [insert nickname here]"

I think it's a good thing! The hardest part would be the expense of all the travel. But, we could make hundreds of local meet ups, and connect them all together on giant screens, so we could all see what's going on at all the other meet ups!

Well that would be neat, if we could meet the people we talk with on here everyday, to put a face to a name. I think I would be same person I am on here, I don't have anything to hide, I'm just me. I don't know if it would ever be possible tho, but it is a nice thought. Have a good day

wow , are you kidding me? There are more than 151,000 mylot population all around the world. And some cannot talk english very well, how would you able to meet and great them. Well, i think it is possible if you just like to meet only your active friend in the list you can have a good chance to know more about them. And be able to meet them in personally is a great experience.

I do not think that a meeting could be arranged with all members or even friends as we all live so far from each other. What distresses me is why do yo call yourself "thick and a blabbermouth"? You have taught yourself English and are fluent in this language, so how can you call yourself thick? Please don't ever put yourself down or allow someone to put you down. yes, it would be wonderful to meet some of our new frieneds but we have the pleasure of being friends on line. Let us give thanks for this opportunity.

Hey babyfuzz! I just love that name! Now wouldn't that just be the best! Me and my mylot friends have talked about this before! We would love to meet each other as you said "eyeball to eyeball"! It would be so fun! But it sure would be kind of difficult picking a place somewhere smack in the middle of the globe! We'd end up meeting right in the middle of some ocean! Honestly, I really do with that we could all pick some kind of meeting place and have a mylot convention! Could you just imagine that! Mylotters from all over the world meeting face to face for the first time! It would be so amazing! All of us who only know each other by our cyber selves! I do talk to some mylotters off the lot, but it's still online! I wish there was a way that mylot could figure out how to get something like that together. But even it they could how would we all be able to afford to get wherever we had to go? That would be kind of difficult! Maybe some day some way it will happen! We can only hope!

Just as long as we get to wear masks during the whole global event. I think what you "see" in myLot is actually 78% of my true self (yes, I calculated!). I'm more reserved around people I barely know but can go with the flow when needed. I tend to become more animated and talkative once you get to know me more...

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I'm all for it if it can get set up to work properly. I think that it could be a great benefit to myLot users from all over the world! I like your idea a lot! I am glad that you thought of it and that you shared it with us! :) I hope it comes to pass and soon we are using this! :)
