Do your dreams for the previous evening affect your mood in the morning?

Whenever I have "nightmares", I usually try to sleep again even for a few minutes until I calm down so my mood for the rest of the day doesn't get affected. It doesn't really happen often ... it's just that my mood is better after a good night's rest ... =)

Depends. The rediculous could bever happen in real life dreams dont really phase me, but the realistic ones like a loved one dying or my boyfriend messing around can put me in a bad mood for the day. Most of the time i dont even remember my dreams though.

when i wake up, i usually forget my dream soon after, unless i quickly write it down so that i dont forget it.

My mood is affected by nightmares and I become more afraid when I wake up. I don't get irritated but it's just that my mind is not focus on the things that I do. I always want to find out what is the meaning of my dream. I even tried to beg for help while I was dreaming, thinking that I'm already awake but in fact I'm still sleeping and dreaming. Those are the times that I hate most because my muscles become numb and I can't move them to wake myself up. Those are the times that I'm really afraid and I don't want to sleep anymore because I might die. I'm experiencing difficulty in breathing if I'm having nightmares. I hope I won't experience them again. The reason of having such nightmares is over fatigue before sleeping or being awake for more than 20 hours before sleeping.

Sometimes I have dreams where I fight with someone or have a bad experience with a loved one, and I am angry at them in the morning for a bit for no reason. Also, sometimes my dreams are so vivid I almost think they have happened. It's really weird.

my dreams affects my mood in a day, especially when it's a good dream that is waiting to be real.It can make me happy as I think about it.But when it's a bad dream, it doesn't affect me, beacuse if it's a bad thing better to forget it and concentrate on better things that your morning has to offer. But whether good or bad, it will only depend on how we motivate ourselves on how to treat that dream

Well I guess everybody does have those dreams that affects our mood the next day. Well for me, I think dreams are the reflection of how your mind have perceive the days experience. They somehow reveal some abstract representation of your past experiences and is creatively designed in your subconscious mind. If it really troubles you then maybe it is good that you reflect deeply that it may be something in your waking time is troubling you and you are ignoring it.

absolutely! if you go to bed dream a nightmare, then you will wake up grumpy or moody. if you go to bed dream a good dream, it normally makes you sleep in and you feel more rested. if you go to bed dream of your ex that left you, your going to wake up moody or either really sad.
