How often do you go out to the movies?

We don't go out to the movies all to often. We usually just rent a movie or two and stay home and relax. The price to go out and see a movie is so high any more it just isn't even worth going. It is much cheaper to just wait until it comes out on dvd. We go to the drive-in during the summer since it is so nice out, and just lay in the back of our jeep and feel the nice summer breeze as we watch the movie. So how often do you go out to the movies? Do you prefer renting movies instead?

I don't go out to the movies often, I usually watch it on tv or get it through my cable company. Sometimes I do go see a movie in the theaters with a friend or something maybe like once or twice a month.

I have not been to the theater in over a year. It just cost to much to see a movie at the cinema. We just wait until they come out on dvd and then rent them if they are ones we really like then we will buy them on dvd. I like watching movies in teh comfort of my own home anyways.

Sadly we never go to the movies and always wait until they come out on DVD. If we did I bet we would be shocked at how much it cost because we seriously have not been out to a movie in at least 4 years!

i use to go to the movies all the time when there was one closer to my house but now im like you i dont go to often because they closed the one by my house down and the closest one is like a 45 minute drive. and your right prices are way to high like 2 tickets you could OWN the movie and watch it as much as you want. i do like the drive in though there use to be one close to my house but that closed to, i was really mad.

My friends and I way back from highschool love going out for a movie. But then when people start worrying about their finances and looks for a job, in short people got busy, watching movies are like a 'next time' thing. Promise to watch this , watch that that i tend to miss the good ones. So thank God for DVD's and Internet. You could actually watch it now, and when the time fit us all together, watch it in movies.

I don't go to the movies very often. I tend to watch movies online or just wait until it comes out on DVD and then buy it. Not the wisest decision really because it costs more to buy the movie than to see it in theatres. But I usually don't buy many movies so I usually don't buy anything that I don't like thankfully.

We often go to the movie house every other payday because my hubby is a movie addict. Sometimes if we don't have enough budget, we rent too if there's any good movies at the store. Also if there's any sales and bargain of cd's and dvd's we always try to buy atleast two pcs, to grab the promo. . .

Back in college, my friends and I go out to see movies a lot, almost every other day. But that was before we realized how much stuff we need to do for our studies and eventually we just watched movies whenever we really have that much of a free time. Now, that we each have jobs movies are way down on our list. I miss watching it but its a little costly to be going to the movies all the time. I just wait for local channels to show it on tv or buy/borrow/rent DVDs from friends. We do the exchange thing where I buy this one and she buys that one, and then we swtich films. That way wont spend a lot on it.

i never go out to the movies. for the price of going to the movies in the theater i can rent 2 videos, buy popcorn, a 2-liter of pop and candy! with money left over! and with the way movies go to dvd so quickly these days! you hardly have to wait! plus, if you rent movies, you can pause when you have to go to the bathroom, or if the phone rings. you can pause to get up and get a refil of popcorn and pop. you can rewind if you missed something. fast forward if you end up not liking a particular scene. and if the movie sucks and you turn it off halfway through, you didnt waste near as much money. renting over theater all the way for me baby!

We don't hardly ever go out to the movies. They are so expensive and plus we would have to find a babysitter for our son as well. We like to just wait until they come out on video and then rent it or buy it. We have a drive in not too far from us and we've been there but it's been a long time. We need to try to go again when the summer comes back around.

We use to go quite a lot but have cut back some what. We probably go at least once a month or every two months now instead of several times a month. It's actually cheaper renting a dvd at blockbuster or watching it on cable.

I"m gonna confess to the fact that I'm a bootlegger at heart. I usually just wait a day or two then i can find a really great cam-sub to download. I only go when I think that the movie is gonna be that great and it will be worth my money. Or if someone offers to pay for me when hanging out with friends. Most movies I see nowadays seem pretty predictable and I just don't want to waste my money going to just figure out the whole plot in the first 10 minutes. Most people say it's my fault since i over-analyze the movie but I just can't help it.

i have gone out to the movies, but just once, for so many years. i can remember it quite well. it's totally different from the sitting behind the computer. not only the contents of the movie, but also the dark, quiet atmosphere can affect your emotions. and it's very cheap in campus. yes, i'm a student.

I am a big movie buff and I watched as often as I can. I prefer watching in big screen to experience the real action of the film. Sometimes I tend to watch it in DVD when I have friends coming to the house. I don't watch alone because it get me bored when there's no somebody to talk with while watching.
