I swear just the other day I looked at the myLot population(at the very latest a week ago)and it was at 1,500. I thought something was wrong with my eyes, because I just noticed the comma MOVED! It's like 151,891! I remember since I started Mylot just a few months ago the number has never gone over 1,000 peeps. What happened? Is this correct? How did it expand like this so quick, overnight? I only told maybe 2 people about it, and one of those people, my Mother, thought it was stupid.

When I first joined in mid to late 2006 I don't remember the exact number, but there were way less than 20,000 members and even the site layout and functions were very different to the way they look today! The population has definitely grown considerably in the last 12 months but I think you will find that out of the 152,000+ members currently listed, there would be a significant percentage that are no longer active! I think when you recall there being 1,00 or so a few months back it may have been a glitch or a misplacement of the apostrophe or something. 100,000 members a few months back sounds more like it!

Hi there coffeegurl!
I do agree with you. The population here on myLot is growing at an unprecedented rate. It's amazing to see this site grow this much. I think that more and more people are getting interested in sites like myLot... A site where you earn and learn at the same time. I can't recall how many members myLot had when I started in May of 2007 but I know the number has grown exponentially.

Hi there Coffeegurl. I don't really think the mylot population was that low when you joined. I joined in may this year and it was a little below 130.000. I think it was just a glitch that you ever saw it less than 100.000 people. I even made a topic on the day mylot reached 150.000 people (i think it's about 1 month old by now).

Really, there were only under a thousand? I have always thought this place was wildly full of people. Millions of people go on chat forums and things just like this place, and they don't want to get paid for it? I'm amazed that not everyone is on here. I think it's mostly because I'm the only type of person who would really enjoy the money. I mean, I'm not making any other money, and I could be making loads more with an actual job. But so many people do nothing! I get paid for it!
