What historical site do you know of that has been around for multiple years? Please explain in full because there are some things that others may not know about your city.
I am from memphis, Tennessee. We have tons of historical sites. I will name my favorite which is the Lorraine Motel, this is where Martin Luther King Jr. was living prior to his assissination. On the King's holiday I go to the motel for a tour and it is really a great place to visit.
What about you? Do you know of any historical events in your city?

Hi, I'm from Knoxville, TN. The entire East Tennessee area is filled with historical sites. Knoxville has several historical points which range from James White Fort to the Bijou Theater, Tennessee Theater and other places. It's a neat place to live or visit. I've visited Memphis (and liked it). Mudd Island was fun, but hot in the summertime!

Mud Island is nice... I have lived in Memphis most of my life and have only visited Mud Island once. I am afraid of heights. :)

I live in a small city in Ohio. The only thing really about my town that is historic is The Dennison Rail Road Museum. Other than that its just a simple town not much to do or see around here.
