Hi all,
Unfortunately (gone but not forgotten) we have all mentors, role-mogels in our lives that we have 'Lost"
I was sitting here thinkng bout all this.
We are so fortunate to have met uncles, Aunts, Moms, Dad; our elders.
By the time we are old enough to appreciate these people, they're "Gone".
yes, as a child you "Love" these people, but we were children. We saw "uncle Ed" in the butcher shop, saw Aunt D "in the deli".. they gave us treats, candy etc. But we actually never "knew" these people.
Does anyone else feel this way! Ni I did not have a bad childhood oer say, I feel like there was sooo much more to learn about these people that I never has a chance to do.
Anyone?

ow your lucky unlike me. I don't enjoy my childhood life before. I was a battered child. I want to forget everything in my past. No good things happened to me when I was a kid.

OMG! I am soo sorry; my husband was (is) a battered child; I use "is" becuse it does not go away all the time. When you are battered, physiclly and/or mentally; it takes such a "toll" om your adult lie. I have seen insecure people; prople whom are not conifident. This sucks!
I am soooo sorry again for what happened to you, and I m sooo sorry for the persone who did this to you! How are you coping now? Do u have children? I would hope that you would not continue the negative behavior.
Peace.. Thanks for the comment
