What is happiness for you?

Happiness varies from one person to another. I think it depends on the satisfaction that you get everytime you do something or something happens to you that you like.
What really struck me about all this is how much it would take to be truly happy. I remember from the movie The Pursuit of Happyness that maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue, not really have it. One might not really be able to be happy but could only find ways, practice them for us to get what we want and when we get ther we end up wanting more.
Lots of things can make me happy. Family, friends, food, hobbies, a lot more. Some would say a simple walk on the beach can make them happy. For others, a small glass of wine and a good book on their lap out on their front porch on a calm night is a rare pleasure.
I think happiness is all on what you truly appreciate from the bottom of your heart. I hope everyone would be able to find theirs, too.

Happiness comes from within for me. Loving from others from the inside out makes it easier to love others for what's on the inside.

hi alyssa .You are right that happines varies from person to person. The definition for happines is different for everyone.Once my teacher told me that if you want happiness you forget happiness. And when i heard this my definition of happiness also changed.Thats really true when we are very happy we dont care for the small ones but when we come across bad days then we care for that small things also

I have same point of view as you. For me happiness can be attained if a person knows how to appreciate even the smallest things around him.For me, it is accepting with smile anything that comes in her life. Knowing how to look at the positive side of life is a sign of happiness. To summary, it is the contentment that our hearts gain.
