This might be an answer to a maiden's prayer that running, jogging and other strenuous exercise may reduce a woman's chances of becoming pregnant. This is a report from a reliable source that goes on to say "exercise burns up body fat that is necessary for normal menstrual circle" Sounds feasible. Jogging has been a godsend to aging arteries and to the cardiovascular system as a whole. Whatever it be, the present finding worth paying attention to. Do you take jogging or walking seriously as a form of exercise?

I am not very much sure what is just meant by exercise burns up body fat that is necessary for normal menstrual circle. if it is really bad for female body, then i will not do so. I do not know what is actually the usage of the fat for normal menstrual cycles.

I think this happens because if a woman's body fat drops too low, then menstruation stops. This actually happened to me when I was in high school because I was running sometimes 50+ miles a week, and doing races. I'm not sure if that also stops ovulation but let me tell you, it was nice to lose it for a couple months back then.
I still love running, I do some form of running/jogging or walking every day.

Seriously? So if I keep running then I'll have a difficult pregnancy? Is that it? Oh my! I don't compete in races, but I jog for about 20 minutes 3-4 times a week apart from other cardio exercises that I do. i find that it's the only way to help me lose the extra pounds.

is this for real?
i go to the gym 2-3 times a week. I jog for 1-2 minutes then brisk-walk for 15-25 minutes. so does that mean it will reduce my chances of getting pregnant?

Lets just say I am not in the best shape of my life right now lol. So I like to take long slow walks because I can go further and burn more calories than jogging for less than half the distance. Once I can power walk for 2 miles without passing out I am going to try and pick up jogging. Walking/Jogging is my favorite form of exercise because you don't need any equipment or other people. All you have to do is go outside and grab a pair of shoes.

I don't see this.
The fitter and better able your body is the more liable it is to perform better and part of that performance for women is having babies.
It might help you have healthier babies or help you recover from pregnancy quicker but I truly doubt you can prevent pregnancy by being more healthy.

Actually i don't but my wife does. She says she jogs everyday at lunch and she likes it. I don't mind because we have one little boy, and i'm cool with that. In fact i don't think i want anymore kiddos after having this little guy, they're already a huge handful!

you know what i am really getting worried about my health..i know i lack the necessary exercise...i feel so weak and brittle nowadays...i am tired almost the whole day carrying a small baby..from the moment she wakes up and until she goes to sleep at nights like 7 or 8 in the evening..added to that i have two kids who gives me stress most of the day...so i have a weak body, a deformed body figure and humped back...if the report is true then i will not jogging in the future?because i use to jog in the oval three times a week and i use to get like 4 rounds of jogging and walking.

Hi there Zandi!
I like walking and we used to do it everyday, twice, early in the morning and late in the afternoon but ever since I went back the school, I don't have the energy to do that anymore because I am tired when I get home. But still, I do a lot of walking and climbing up and down the stairs in school.
Jogging and walking is great since it is a whole-body work-out and a good cardio-vascular one as you've mentioned and especially when you walk or jog somewhere with a beautiful site or with someone special.

Walking in the countryside while admiring nature's beauty is a great experience. You are not only exercising your body but you are also reducing the stress from your hard day's work in school. I am sure walking up and down the staircase is a good form of exercise. I would love to do that even it takes me to few floors in the building.

Oh yes dear, I and my hubby are early morning joggers. We do it regularly and without it our day would be incomplete. This along with healthy diet really keep us both fit despite our age. We are both 52 but we can run as 25 years old guys do. I jog and walk alternately. It really feels great after an hour. It gives me enough energry and vitality each day.
