Sometimes we go to some social places and from there we encounter several couples showcasing their love. do you feel insecure to this?

It hurts when it's my friends. I feel that I'm missing something and I start to get a little jealous. It sounds awfully childish, but it really feels like I'm some sort of outcast. I also feel that it's a race and I get thoughts that I need to get out of being single, etc.
It's terrible, and yes, I do feel insecure to *FRIENDS* in relationships.

well it depends on my moods, if i am in a mood to observe other people displaying publicly their affection, sometimes i feel jealous for i dont have someone to hold hands but their are times that i dont care for i am not in the mood to observe them, i just let them past without paying attention to what they do.

Hi there Marq!
Not really. I am happily married and we are really sweet to each other even when we are in public but not the PDA type with kissing and all, well, a quick peck sometimes but rarely.
I don't feel insecure to other couples even when I am alone though.

Honestly, yes. Actually, I am single right now. Whenever I see couples or whenever I bump into them, I can feel as though I am lonely that nobody loves me. (I'm exaggerating, of course). I just envy them because they seem to be in a state of bliss. I don't have that special someone whom I can share my feelings, my thoughts, my experiences with, and that is so sad to think. It's not nice to be insecure, but you just can't help but be.
