Construction... does it EVER end?

I'm so tired of construction in AZ. It seems as if EVERY road here is under construction. Does it REALLY have to be like this? Can't they do a couple roads at a time, not EVERY SINGLE road? And if you don't go 25 and you get pulled over you get double the fines. But you have to leave at least an hour before you normally would because you have to go so slow through miles and miles of construction. I try to avoid it- go down another road only to find what.... more construction. Anyone else getting tired of this?

They are doing alot of construction here in PA too. I think a lot of it has to do with the large high way project in the 70's. A lot of roads were built at the same time so they are all kind of wearing out at the same time too.

Ours here are so bad that they litterally have holes in them within months after they are laid. The construction guys lay some asphalf in the hole and go on. A month later they are back.

Very good question. It doesnt' seem like it ever ends. There is always construction going on here too. Even if you try and find another way around it, you find more construction.

I talked to my grandma who came here in the 70s and she said she hasn't seen AZ without contruction since. How horrible is that?

Oh my gosh i know what you mean. It seems they do thing at the most unconvent time too. We have a project here in our small town and it is suppose to last two years, and of course they had to do the work in front of our school when school started not all summer they worked somewhere else.

Of course, they always do it right in front of a major building too. I'm telling you, they do it just to piss us off!
