Does free shipping entice you to shop online?

If I have the money and the product price is right, yes. But, I shop online anyway for quite a few things. My son and grandkids are over 2000 miles away, so it's easier to order and have shipped than buy, pack and ship. But, free shipping is a definite incentive and for only a $15 purchase, that's a real bargain! What company is offering that?

It doesn't hurt! LOL I especially like the fact that I don't have to travel to pick up the item. However, with my last purchase online I had to return it to the manufacturer as it didn't work. So I lost out on the shipping twice. And what was even worse was that they didn't make this particular model anymore, so they gave me what was supposed to be an upgraded model. However, the darn thing is so heavy and uncomfortable to wear it just sits in my bathroom drawer. I probably should have sent it back to them shortly after I received it, but I would have lost out on shipping again. It just wasn't worth it to me. Now I would rather buy items which I can go pick up myself. I may miss out on free shipping or even a good deal, but at least I can return it without too much hassle.

all the jewellry we sell on ebay comes with FREE shipping and i have to tell you we have sold some stuff, but not tons. i think that free shipping is a draw though because who wants to have to pay shipping on top of the price that they are already paying? it just makes sense!

yes it does!! the only reason i do not shop online sometimes is because of the shipping or needing to try it on or handle it but if every where had free shipping i would do a lot more shopping online and i already do a lot.. im not buying presents this year or i would ask ya for it.. but thats cool that you are letting people know about it

Yes, free shipping is always a win-win. I always do my shoping on-line for any occasions, expecially Christmas b/c I hate to fight all those lines near the holiday for that last minute gift. Not only that, but if you are on-line there are lots of coupons that can be found for any store on-line by just completing a simple search for them.

I only shop online if free shipping is offered.Unfortunately,I'm from Europe and when I want to buy something from eBay.com the shipping taxes are huge and that really cuts my shopping-spirit down.I've even seen items that cost less than the shipping taxes. Also,in Romania,there are not a lot of sites where you purchase something online.

I reckon that getting free shipping is very attractive and can really net a load of customers.I live in Africa and this is virtually impossible.However if it was possible then I am very sure i would do most of my shopping online.!!!LOL!!!!

yes free shipping saves you money order like these is what iam interested in.and you save money driving there as well as trying to find a place to park

That's a very good thing to know. That could be a practical choice for some. In my case, I just prefer the not-so-modern thing to shop and buy things. I still love to enjoy walking through the stores in a mall with my wife, shopping for things needed in our house.

Sure, it's a big tempter for me. Free shipping definitely let me shopping much more. Amazon offers such a service here, this is why I often buy from this website:) I love China

That's wonderful. but I think this is only for the states, not overseas. It would be great to shop online if they would ship it for free. There are some items that could be bought from stores however locally, especially if these are small items. You get to select which one. But you're generous with your offer. Merry Christmas.

Free shipping is a good thing, it at least keeps me on the relevant website for that much longer! I think that online shopping is definitely the way to go! I don't think I will ever shop down the high st again! The Internet is truly a great thing! Andrew

It depends what the site is. If it was something I have no interest in I wouldn't be saving any money by buying something just to recieve the free delivery. However if I really want something and the product is a little under $15 and that's where their starting the free delivery at i'll often buy a little something extra to bump the price up. That way i'm gaining something rather than wasting my money on the postage.

Nope I am a store shopper! I love to go Christmas shopping. I do it early so that I don't have to deal with the rush because that makes me nuts. I don't think I have ever bought a Christmas presnet online! Or any present! I have bought myself a few things online but only because it was a better deal then going to a store or an online special. Like my car DVD player. I got free shipping on it and it was an online special for 140 verses the 240 in store!

I only shop online if I have free shipping. I don't like it when you have to spend $50 or more for the free shipping. I was just online today and found some items that I wanted to buy, but the shipping was more that the total of the items! that is a huge turnoff!

Well, that would depend on the products that are on sale. And whether the shop online is reliable or not. I have yet to do any shopping entirely online. The fun part of shopping is to go and browse the products, touch and feel it before you buy it. It is the crowd that I hate! Well, online shopping offered by shops are not common here. It would be good if that happens. I am sure a lot of people would be happy, given that parking and the cost of driving has increased so much in recent years!

Sometimes that is the only thing that will get me to shop online. Now that gas has gone down I am not as worried about going out to shop as I was so unless something is at a really good price or the shipping is free or something I will just go out and get it.

Hey kathy! I just love to shop online too! And I love the free shipping! Yeah that is a good deal. It is usually over $50 for free shipping. I bought a computer desk online about a month ago and I really saved alot on the shipping. I didn't realized how much UPS ground was until the other day when I was pricing a stereo and they wanted $30 for a $120 stereo! I freaked! It was out of stock so I couldn't get it yet. I'm sure hoping that if and when it does come into stock they will make the shipping free, but somehow I doubt it! Now that stereo can weigh as much as the computer desk did! So I have learned a new appreciation of the word "free shipping"!

Hi redkathy. There are some places I would shop online if they have free shipping. It's gotten so I don't like to go shopping if I don't have to so shopping online with free shipping is great for me. Depends on the site.
